We offer rental vehicles of all shapes and sizes for your next day trip OR adventure on the road less traveled – 4WDs, vans, motorbikes, and Ebikes – PLUS all the camping gear to stay off the grid and self-contained while off the beaten path! Available in Nelson, Christchurch, and Queenstown.
Rental Bundles
We also provide bundles where you can add on various items like an E-Bike, Standup Paddle Board, or Camping package with your Suzuki Jimny or Toyota Hiace Campervan.

Wild Road Rentals is all about choosing your own adventure, and having the right vehicle and gear to get you there.
Our region is packed full of adventures, on all types of New Zealand roads – our vehicle fleet has something for everyone for every journey!
Our vehicles are also available for day hire, for those looking for a rental to get them around town in style.
Having lived in the Top of the South Island for years, and traveled around the world, we know what customers are looking for in rental vehicles, as well as knowing what they need to play or work in our very own backyard.
How it Works
From the moment you contact us, we do everything we can to make your rental experience an enjoyable one. We make recommendations on where to go, what to see, and how to get there!

Cancellation Policy – To cancel your reservation, you must notify us at least 72 hours in advance of your scheduled reservation time. You must contact us during normal business hours. Emailed cancellations will not be accepted. If you are a “no show”, you will be charged the full rental amount. Please understand, we have to reserve each ride with a machine and date. After we make that reservation, we are not able to sell the date or the machine to someone else
